Quick Facts & Must-Knows

Constanta is a pretty unique city in Romania – it is the country’s biggest port and only large city located on the coast of the Black Sea. It has an amazing weather year-round, and it offers a perfect mix of old world charm, seaside fun, and modern amenities and developments.

The best part about the city is that it’s a lot more than just a summer destination – it’s perfect for long-term living, it has plenty of opportunities and, due to its location, it’s a huge expat hub – probably the most diverse in the country after Bucharest.

No matter if you’re after a seaside holiday, looking to party in nearby Mamaia, looking for some culture and old-town feels or thinking of moving for that daily sea breeze (vitamin Sea, as it’s called), Constanta is perfect. So let’s see what I had to say about it!

Things to do & see in and around the city
